Completion Date: August 2018

Project Size: 210,000 square feet

About

North Building Phase B provides 210,000 square feet of mixed-used academic space and completes a ring of public space that encircles the campus green.

The architecture encourages the convergence of various student life components and celebrates the unique theatre of campus life while providing a signature event space for the University’s extended community.

The design features a bold material expression with twin slabs of departmental offices clad in glazed terracotta balanced above a rusticated base of architectural concrete that houses the classroom and student life functions. The building is targeting LEED Gold – a first for the University of Toronto Mississauga campus.
